Original Concept Design

There have been many clients over the years that have approached us with rather unique requests. Many of those requests became the first product of their kind in the Kenyan market, making the clients very happy about both the quality of the finished product, and in many cases, the competitive edge it gave them in the market. No matter how big or small, simple or complex, we will work with you to bring your ideas to life in fibreglass, both beautifully crafted and practical

The process of designing your custom products or solutions is a simple one with 4 basic steps:

  1. Design

Initially our approach is to gain a thorough understanding of your needs, we do this whether you are an architect, consultant, project coordinator or end user, during these initial discussions with you we can advise on design criteria for such matters as mouldability and the addition of peripheral components if required, our early input can greatly improve functionality and appearance whilst reducing tooling and component costs.

  2. Tooling

From your drawings, a timber or foam pattern is produced to replicate the finished product exactly, including the surface texture. From this, a heavy duty GRP production mould is produced to enable the manufacture of finished products.

Our in-house ability to produce complex, multi piece production moulds with high quality finishes is key, as the quality of each moulded component is a direct reflection of the mould itself. Controlling critical dimensions and shape is a result of moulds that are properly manufactured and structurally supported, equally important is the type and quality of materials employed during mould construction.

  3. Production

We undertake small to large volume production, but we are also mindful that sometimes a single product / prototype are all that is required.

Due to our continual commitment to technical and composite solutions and our open minded approach regarding unusual or specialist applications, we will consider almost any project.

  4. Finishing

Once the product has been released from the mould it goes to the finishing department where it can be trimmed if required and the addition of any peripheral components fitted, now the product has been finished and rigorously checked it can be packed and delivered….
